Hong Kong Tatler

The Edipresse Group contacted us to reinvigorate their prominent society magazine, Tatler. This broad redesign includes English editions launched for Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, Philippines and Malaysia. Beijing and Shanghai editions were published and designed in simplified Chinese. In collaboration with Mariana Ochs and Ariel Cepeda, our goal was to make all editions as unified as possible. With the Chinese, however, we had a lot typographic and cultural decisions to make. With a mission to re-illuminate the world of unapologetic luxury, glamour and exclusivity, we worked hard to raise the bar of the photography, reorganize the navigational feel and help define a distinctly more contemporary editorial voice. In short – we went about making Tatler the unique and essential passport to the new, very modern Asian society.
