Buchanan Bar

With Leslie Mann, we were asked to create an identity for a new restaurant at the Hamilton Club of Lancaster, an upscale private social club. The restaurant’s challenge was to present bistro fare in an atmosphere that appeals to both a young, hip group of Hamilton Club members and a sophisticated, older set. Named after former President James Buchanan, who resided in Lancaster, the logo references 19th century woodtype graphics.
