Esquire approached us to design the first of their Big Black Book series, a fashion portfolio of style essentials for the Esquire man about town. We decided to create a graphic homage to the John Korpics moment in Esquire, one of our favorite periods in Esquire’s prestigious design history, with overlapping serifs and bold graphic typographic solutions.
